Dear Barsanti Elementary School Families,

As we move from April into an exciting and meaningful May, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful experiences our school community has shared and look ahead to all that’s still to come. 

April was truly special at Barsanti as we celebrated the Month of the Military Child. Thank you for helping us honor our students and recognize the unique experiences of our military-connected children. From the Red Carpet Clap-In and Little Heroes Parade to the Color Run, Purple Up Picnic, and MOMC Spirit Week dress-up days, the month was filled with memorable moments. A special thank you to the parents and community members who came out to support, to include those who volunteered to read with our students throughout the month. It was inspiring to see our community come together in such a meaningful way.

May brings both celebration and reflection as we approach the end of another successful school year. We are excited to begin with Teacher Appreciation Week - a wonderful opportunity to recognize the dedication, creativity, and care our teachers bring to the classroom each day. Their commitment to student success makes a lasting impact, and we are truly grateful. Students are also eagerly anticipating our upcoming Field Day activities, always a highlight of the year. It’s a time filled with fun, teamwork, and school spirit, and we look forward to seeing students enjoying the outdoors, building friendships, and creating lasting memories.

This last month of the school year affords the opportunity for reflection. Students will celebrate their growth, recognize their accomplishments, and set goals for the future. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved this year and know you are too! Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we make Barsanti Elementary a vibrant and caring place where all students can learn and thrive.
