Color Run Fun!

Month of the Military Child celebrations at Barsanti ES included a spirited Color Run!  In a cloud of color and excitement  staff, and families cheered on our military-connected students every step of the way.

Students took to the course with enthusiasm as they ran, walked, and laughed their way through bursts of purple powder - the symbolic color honoring military children. By the time they crossed the finish line, many were covered head to toe in vibrant shades of purple, wearing their smiles just as proudly as the color itself.

Lining the route, staff members and parents clapped, cheered, and encouraged students throughout the run, creating an energetic and supportive atmosphere. The event was as much about community as it was about celebration, bringing everyone together to recognize the unique experiences of military-connected students.

“This was such a fun way to celebrate our kids,” one staff member shared. “Seeing them supported by their families and school community, and just enjoying the moment made it really special.”

The Color Run served as a joyful reminder of the resilience, strength, and spirit of military children. As laughter filled the air and purple powder marked the occasion, Barsanti Elementary once again demonstrated its commitment to honoring every student and celebrating the stories that make its community strong.
